Join the Wild Heart Yoga Tribe for a 7 day Yoga Adventure to one of the Wildest places in the World!!


 Bukit Lawang  is a peaceful village in the province of North Sumatra and the main access point into the green heart of Sumatra: the Leuser Ecosystem. You will have the unique chance to view wild orangutans in a guided tour through the lush forests of the region.

The facility provides an unprecedented opportunity to be immersed in North Sumatra’s unique rainforest environment while directly contributing to the conservation of the critically endangered Sumatran orangutan – with proceeds donated to the Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme.

You will be able to Nurture and nourish your wellbeing with 7 days of Yoga, Tekking and culture as we reconnect to the natural world and our natural selves. We will be practicing Gentle and Vinyasa Yoga along with an Acro Yoga Workshop.
Delicious  fresh meals will be provided for all meals and sourced locally from the retreats eco farm. Enjoy some personal time with yourself in one of 4 choices of lodges. Connect to a community of light hearted and eco conscious people.

Siamang Lodge Facilities:
Tucked away in the heart of Ecolodge’s garden, our Siamang bungalows are lovingly furnished, in charming setting offering you a comfortable and peaceful ambience, which makes you forget all troubles.

Hornbill Lodge Facilities:
The Hornbill Lodge is built as a complex consisting of 12 bungalows with great rural charm. Due to its secluded location at the back corner of the garden and its design of the 8 bungalows, clustering around a central garden, Hornbill Lodge is ideal for and in fact also highly favoured by group travellers. The functional furnishing of the Lodge provides a comfortable and pleasant stay, which will be sweet to remember.

Orang-Utan Lodge facilities:
You will succumb to Orangutan bungalows’ charm. The spacious bedrooms are nicely furnished and grant a comfortable stay. Enjoy an exotic experience in our orangutan open-air bathroom with live plants, providing a touch of rainforest ambience.

Thomas Leaf Monkey Lodge facilities
The hand-crafted bamboo furniture of the Thomas’ Leaf Monkey rooms match with the curtains and naturally pigmented colouring of the floors – individually designed for every room. The «mandi» (traditional Indonesian shower) in the open-air bathroom offers an unforgettable experience of its own.
