I started my journey with Kundalini yoga nearly 5 years ago.  From my very first class I was hooked, I remember standing with the teacher after that class - in what is now a familiar post kundalini yoga bliss state - just saying wow, wow, wow! The experience for me was so intense, I could literally feel the energy moving through my body, my hands were tingling, my heart was open and I felt a very deep sense of peace.   It was like nothing I had experienced before.

I attended every class that I could after that (although we did not have a permanent kundalini yoga teacher in Cairns at that time) and under the guidance of my teacher began to cultivate a personal daily practice.  My life has since changed in so many ways – physically, emotionally and spiritually.  I have experienced first hand the transformative nature of this practice and it is from these experiences that I feel compelled to share these teachings with others.

My passion is to make these teachings available to everyone and anyone who feels drawn to it.  One of the things I love about kundalini yoga is that it is accessible to everyone, it doesn’t matter how fit you are, how old you are, where you are from etc etc  literally all that is required to do kundalini yoga is an open mind and a willingness to grow.

When we practice kundalini yoga in a group the experience and benefits are multiplied.  In fact our teacher Yogi Bhajan (a Master of Kundalini Yoga) said that when we get together in a group to chant and practice Kundalini Yoga even the angels get jealous.    I would love for you to join me in this beautiful studio to experience for yourself this amazing practice.
